There's real elegance in the delivery of this quite powerfully full wine which has plum and cassis fruit topped off with tobacco and tea notes. Supple, silky and long.
The nose is bursting with black berries, exotic spice and hints of smoky oak and cedar. On the palate, the texture is rich and generous, with soft tannins. The finish has a good freshness and is full of lingering ripe fruit.
